Baton Rouge Police Chief TJ Morse visited Twin Oaks Elementary for Read Across America Day. He read to students in grades K-2nd and the K-9 unit also presented to the students.

Twin Oaks Elementary Spelling Bee!
Our students went through 16 rounds of competition before we were able to crown a winner.
Congratulations to 4th Grade student Kaiden Farlow as our champion and 5th grade student Ricarlo Stewart as our Runner-Up.
3rd grade student Aden Jenkins was honorable mention coming in third place. Kaiden will move on to the district competition Monday, February 5th. Good luck to Kaiden!

At Twin Oaks, we strive to educate our students on the pillars of character and the process of proper and positive decision making. Along with ICare Services, Twin Oaks works to build and cultivate good character with all of our students. This year we will be using SEL Model- Social, Emotional Learning. We are proud to be a PBIS school, as we work to reward and educate positive student behavior.
